Welcome to the Bowling and Milton Community Council website.

 

Our meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month, commencing 7.15pm, in Bowling Village Hall and Milton Hall alternatively.

 

The next meeting will be on in Bowling on 17th March. Members of the public are welcome to attend and contribute.

Temporary Cancellation of Meetings

 

Consistent with the government’s recommendations aimed at controlling the spread of Covid 19 (coronavirus) this Community Council, in line with the majority of organisations throughout the area, has decided to temporarily cancel our monthly meetings.

  • Establish the views of our community

  • Co-ordinate and express these views to the local and public authorities

  • Act in the interests of our community

How do we make progress?

 

  • Be proactive and consult the community

  • Encourage community spirit 

  • Represent the whole community 

  • Local police representatives attend all meetings

  • Be familiar with West Dunbartonshire Council policies

  • Keep the Council informed; attend Community Council Open Forum meetings

  • Liaise with other agencies and groups, e.g. SWT, Clydebelt, SNH
